1931 beginnt die Migros mit der Produktion von Joghurt. Weil sie den handelsüblichen Preis von 45 auf 25 Rappen pro Glas senkt, nimmt der Joghurtkonsum rapide zu. Die Einführung der Wegwerfpackung 1960 bringt eine weitere, riesige Umsatzsteigerung.
