The new solar plant on the roof of the Länderpark in Stans produces 500,000 kWh of electricity per year over an area of 4,200 m³. This is enough energy to cover the entire electricity requirements of around 150 households. The plant is one of the five largest photovoltaic systems installed in a building this year. With the Länderpark in Stans, Migros has 15 plants. It realised its first project over 20 years ago, thus making it one of the pioneers in Switzerland.
