The Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute (GDI) has appointed a new CEO: Nico Luchsinger will take up the position of CEO of Switzerland's oldest think-tank on 1 July 2026. He will take over from Jennifer Somm, who has led the GDI on an ad interim basis since 2025.

Running is now twice as rewarding: Migros is adding fitness to its bonus programme. Participants who have a Cumulus card can now collect points at certain running events in Switzerland – Cumulus points worth CHF 1 will be awarded for every kilometre run.
