The relevant committees of the Migros Group have approved the foundation of Migros Supermarket Ltd (MSM). From 1 January 2024 onwards, Migros' supermarket business will be managed by a independent, centrally controlled company in order to provide more efficient services along the entire supply chain. MSM, a subsidiary of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives (FMC), will be headed by CEO Peter Diethelm. By bundling its supermarket business into MSM, Migros is strengthening its core business in its customers' interests. The aim of the new organisation is to simplify processes, streamline structures and clarify roles.
