Its exemplary performance means it retains top spot in the Business Benchmark on Farm Animal Welfare (BBFAW). Migros only includes eggs from animal-friendly, free-range farms in its product range to promote animal welfare, while also lowering their prices. Migros pulls off yet another pioneering feat – over 20 years ago, it became the first major Swiss retailer to stop selling eggs from cage-farmed hens.
