Migros Basel at the "Grün 80"

Migros Basel publishes an anniversary book on the company's history to mark its 50th year. Otherwise, the year is distinguished by the commitment to the "Grün 80," which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors. The crowds include tens of thousands of cooperative members throughout Switzerland. Migros gives 400,000 tickets for admission to "Grün 80" to cooperative members, retirement homes, school classes and associations. The annual report published in its anniversary year indicates that Migros Basel has 3,250 employees, 88,606 cooperative members, 14 sales vehicles and 50 stores. Its sales totalled CHF 660.3 million by year-end.
