As a member of the WWF Seafood Group, Migros is committed to procuring fish from sustainably sourced wild catches. It stops selling endangered species and expands its range of Bio and Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) fish from sustainable fisheries. From 2011, Migros also supports the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) initiative launched in 2009. This independent organisation promotes sustainable fish farming.
