Strategic partnership

Migros and WWF sign a strategic partnership on 30 April, thus expanding their working relationship. Various collaborations have been running for several years, for example on the topics of "Wood", "Climate" and "Seafood". Migros is now sponsoring the WWF's youth programme. By doing so, Migros is building on an existing commitment: since 2001, it has sponsored the WWF Pandamobile, a converted Migros sales van that travels from school to school with exhibitions and introduces children to environmental issues. In 2009, the partners jointly launch the "Stickermania" campaign, which proves to be a huge success with 605,000 rainforest books sold. WWF invests the money raised in new nature reserves in Madagascar and Borneo.
