On 6 June, Migros launches Migipedia.ch, a unique online platform tailored to meet a wide range of customer requirements. Amid the hype of social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter, migipedia.ch enjoys a special position: As well as enabling social interaction, the virtual Migros platform is an entertaining way of binding customers into the Migros community. On migipedia.ch, customers can rate Migros products, submit comments and suggestions, share recipes and ask specific questions. The launch is a complete success: by the end of 2010, over 17,000 users were registered on migipedia.ch.
