Takeover in the wholesale business

On 1 July, the FMC acquires Scana Lebensmittel AG from Scana Holding AG. This company is a major Swiss delivery wholesaler for restaurants, hotels, hospitals and other major customers. The acquisition enables Migros Industrie to significantly expand its wholesale business. In turn, Scana Lebensmittel AG, which continues to operate as an independent company with a headcount of 235, benefits from Migros' logistics. The parties agree not to disclose the sale price.
