Migros continues to focus on improving its energy performance and cutting greenhouse gas emissions. In Zuzwil, canton of St. Gallen, for example, the first energy-plus store opens. This means the Migros Eastern Switzerland cooperative store produces more electricity than it consumes over the course of the year. It achieves this by using a photovoltaic system with peak output of 279 kWp and thanks to its sustainable, energy-saving architectural design.
