Migros Group: change in the management of internal audit

As an independent subsidiary of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives (FMC), Mitreva AG provides internal auditing services for the companies of the Migros Group. Business processes are to be further optimised and tasks and roles redefined for efficient control and management of the companies. 

Now there will be a change at the top: the head of Mitreva AG, Gabriela Federer, will give up her position due to the strategic realignment and is looking for a new challenge outside the Migros Group. “We would like to thank Gabriela Federer for her many years of work and her great commitment to the Migros Group. Gabriela Federer was a person of integrity with more than thirty years of experience who significantly shaped and moulded the quality of Mitreva. I wish her every success in her future career,” says Werner Schiesser, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mitreva AG. 

The search for her successor has commenced. Roger Neininger is heading up Mitreva AG ad interim. He brings with him many years of experience and expertise: he worked for KPMG Switzerland from 1984, as its CEO from 2012 to 2014 and as the Chairman of its Board of Directors from 2014 to 2020. He has been working as a consultant since 2021. 

Mitreva AG 
Mitreva AG is an independent subsidiary of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives (FMC). Its Board of Directors is made up of independent experts. Mitreva is mandated by the FMC Board of Directors and by the boards of directors of the regional Migros Cooperatives as the internal auditor of the Migros Community. Mitreva reports directly to the Chairman of the FMC Audit Committee to ensure its independence as an internal auditor.
