15 August marks the 125th anniversary of the birth of Gottlieb Duttweiler (1888–1962), the founder of Migros. The visionary entrepreneur is celebrated at various events, in commemorative publications and with a special Swiss Post stamp. The interactive "Oranger Garten" museum in Rüschlikon is also opened to mark the occasion, displaying photographs, films and information about Migros' history.
