Migros' "Save Food" initiative aims to encourage people to eat Swiss fruits and vegetables that look different to produce usually found on the shelves, but which are sustainable, inexpensive and of the highest quality. The Migros Group is bundling its online book offering: the Ex Libris book business will be gradually transferred to Galaxus. The 15 Ex Libris stores are set to be closed by the end of the year. This step is part of Migros' consistent, ongoing transformation from a bricks-and-mortar bookseller to a leading online provider. In the future, customers will benefit from an even better online user experience. The consultation procedure has been initiated.

Providing more choice at the right time: from 5 February 2026, Migros promotions will now start on Thursdays and run until Wednesday of the following week. The Migros Magazine with Migros Woche as a supplement will also now be delivered on Wednesdays. Migros is making this change to ensure even more consistent alignment with the shopping habits of its customers as well as improved availability and attractive prices at the right time.
