The Swiss national exhibition Expo.02 runs from 15 May to 20 October. Migros is present with two projects: the "Strangers in Paradise" pavilion in Biel/Bienne and the two Mistral restaurants in Biel/Bienne and Neuchâtel. Both projects are a huge success. The pavilion, where visitors travel in a giant shopping trolley through a whimsical take on Switzerland in miniature, proves to be a real hit: Over 850,000 people visit the pavilion. The two Mistral restaurants with their special gastronomy concepts prove extremely popular with the public. The Kids Train provides a wonderful experience for children – the conveyor belt delivers whatever they fancy in unconventional fashion.
