A new landmark is opened in the canton of Ticino at the end of March: the new panoramic restaurant "Fiore di pietra" (stone flower) was officially opened on Monte Generoso. The flower design was created by Ticino architect Mario Botta. The former hotel and restaurant building had been damaged by a landslide.
