Kofi A. Annan receives the Gottlieb Duttweiler Prize

On 8 September, former UN Secretary-General and Nobel Peace Prize winner Kofi A. Annan is presented with the Gottlieb Duttweiler Prize by Gisèle Girgis, President of the "Im Grüene" Foundation and member of the FMC Executive Board. The award ceremony takes place in Rüschlikon and is attended by Pascal Couchepin, President of the Swiss Confederation. The British-African entrepreneur Mo Ibrahim and former Federal Councillor and UN Special Envoy Adolf Ogi give laudatory speeches. Kofi A. Annan receives the prize endowed with CHF 100,000 in recognition of his lifelong fight for human welfare.
