Migros acquires stake in Depot

Migros acquires a 49% stake in the German retail company Gries Deco Holding (GDH), which sells home accessories, home decoration items and small items of furniture under the name "Depot". Constantly changing themes and their staging in the stores are a hallmark of Depot. The company operates 148 stores in Germany and Austria and is expanding aggressively in Europe. Migros benefits from the Depot expertise in particular with its company Interio, which plays a leading role in the home fashion market in Switzerland and Austria.
