Milestone for the future

The new Migros Distribution Centre (MVS) in Suhr for dry goods and drinks is officially opened on 5 June. This marks the start of a new era for Migros. The new logistics strategy, centralised goods management and the standardised IT solutions are ground-breaking endeavours. A high-performance facility – one of the largest in Europe with state-of-the-art order picking, a rail terminal with track system and high-bay storage – opens in the former operations centre of Migros Aargau/Solothurn. When fully operational, up to 5,700 pallets will be handled every day in the outgoing goods unit.
