Sharp rise in online sales

LeShop.ch and migros.shop.ch end their first joint year in 2004 with revenue of CHF 33 million, 52% up on 2003. Shopping online, including for food, has definitely made a breakthrough. The number of first-time customers doubles to reach 23,900. On peak days, the distribution centre dispatches 140 tonnes of goods. This figure equates to around 15,000 full shopping bags.
