Upheaval in the convenience business

Migros restructures its convenience business on 4 July. It ends its partnership with Valora and enters into a new cooperative venture with Shell Switzerland. By 2010, over 160 petrol station stores under the Migrolino brand are to be developed at Shell and Migrol petrol stations and at train stations. This allows customers to benefit from a wide range of affordable, high-quality Migros products and selected branded goods, as well as from Shell's fuel range. Both Cumulus and Shell Clubsmart cards can be used at the petrol stations. The first Migrol petrol station with a Migrolino shop and Shell fuel opens in Stans on 17 November. In turn, Valora can continue operating the avec. shops.
