Delegates confirm Chairwoman and members of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives

Ursula Nold has been re-elected as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors at the Assembly of Delegates of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives. Edith Spillmann was also confirmed in office as President of the Assembly of Delegates.
The elections for the new term of office from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2028 took centre stage at the Assembly of Delegates of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives (FMC) on Saturday. The approximately 100 delegates of regional Migros cooperatives from all over Switzerland present re-elected Ursula Nold as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives (FMC) with a large majority. They also confirmed all the members of the Board of Directors.
“I will continue to work with full conviction for a Migros that remains economically strong, socially relevant and committed to its cooperative aspirations,” declared Ursula Nold after her election. “The Migros Group will continue to act with clear entrepreneurial focus while fulfilling its responsibility for a Switzerland worth living in – for everyone. At the same time, we will continue to evolve wherever markets, customer expectations and competition change.”
The Assembly of Delegates also re-elected Edith Spillmann as its President for the coming term of office. Edith Spillmann was first elected President in June 2024. “I look forward to working with the delegates of all the regional cooperatives to contribute to a strong Migros Group – in dialogue with and together with the Board of Directors and the Executive Board. In this way, we aim to uphold and promote the Migros values,” said Edith Spillmann on accepting her appointment.
The FMC Board of Directors will continue to consist of the following 13 members for the next term of office from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2028:

The Migros Assembly of Delegates
The Assembly of Delegates is the highest governing body within the Federation of Migros Cooperatives. Its delegates generally meet twice a year to vote on important bills. The FMC Assembly of Delegates consists of one hundred elected delegates. These were elected by the bodies of the regional cooperatives for a four-year term of office. Together with the ten representatives of the regional administrations of the cooperatives and the President, they form the 111-member Assembly of Delegates.
