Expansion of the NON range

Migros is expanding its NON non-alcoholic beverage line. Two new flavours are being added to the beer range: mango and grapefruit. The entire range will now also be available in practical aluminium cans. The NON brand continues to achieve strong growth: sales rose by 80% last year.

Migros is expanding its NON non-alcoholic beverage range just in time for the warmer weather. The NON beer range, which is now the second best-selling beer in Migros supermarkets, is being expanded to include the new mango and grapefruit varieties. They complement the existing panaché and elderflower varieties, which are now also available in convenient 33 cl cans.

NON sparkling wines to be available in cans in the next few weeks

NON sparkling wine will also be available in practical 25 cl cans in the coming weeks. By taking this step, Migros is responding to two trends at once: customers' growing demand for alcohol-free alternatives and the desire for practical packaging. The aluminium cans are lightweight and shatter-proof, making them ideal for on the go – whether at a picnic or an outdoor get-together.

NON – a real success story

The market for non-alcoholic beverages is booming. Ever more people are deciding to give up alcohol, but don't want to compromise on enjoyment and quality. Migros responded to this trend by launching its NON brand in 2022. The name stems from a vote by the Cooperative's members, who continued to reject the sale of alcohol at Migros and decided in favour of NON instead of OUI beer.

Migros has since been offering non-alcoholic alternatives under the NON brand. NON sparkling wine, which was introduced to mark the company's 100th anniversary, has been highly successful, helping to increase the brand's sales by around 80%.
