Kiabi arrives in Switzerland: a national first in Marin Centre

Marin Centre SA is proud to announce the forthcoming opening of the first Kiabi shop in Switzerland. The French leader in affordable ready-to-wear is setting up shop in the country for the first time, offering consumers in French-speaking Switzerland a new shopping experience combining style, quality and attractive prices.
For more than 40 years, Kiabi has been a benchmark in the European fashion sector. With a varied range for the whole family - women, men, children and babies - the brand stands out for its commitment to making fashion accessible to all. Kiabi's arrival at Marin Centre marks an important step in its international expansion, and underlines the appeal of the shopping centre as a major shopping destination in French-speaking Switzerland.
From April, Kiabi will be opening its first modern, user-friendly shop in Marin Centre, designed to offer the best possible customer experience. Visitors will be able to discover trendy collections that are regularly renewed and adapted to all styles and budgets.
Jobs created in the region
Kiabi's arrival in the canton of Neuchâtel is accompanied by the creation of jobs in the region. Awarded the "Great Place To Work" label, the French retailer promotes local management, surrounded by committed employees, with a corporate culture built on boldness and trust.
A new brand to launch the 15th anniversary of Marin Centre
The arrival of Kiabi at Marin Centre, the second largest shopping centre in French-speaking Switzerland, is part of Migros Neuchâtel-Fribourg's drive to diversify its retail offering and meet the needs of customers looking for a wide choice of shops in the same space.
"The arrival of Kiabi at Marin Centre sends out a strong signal: we are strengthening our position as a leading shopping destination in French-speaking Switzerland with a much-anticipated international brand that is both accessible and family-friendly. This opening is the perfect way to kick off our anniversary year: for 15 years, Marin Centre has been constantly evolving to offer an attractive mix of retailers and an ever more complete experience, serving the whole region," explains Giliane Geissmann, Head of Real Estate at Migros Neuchâtel-Fribourg.
To celebrate these 15 years, a number of events will be on offer this year, including the return of the dinosaurs from "Jurassic Island" - who made a big impression in 2025 - a funfair, the mini-Migros and the Lego animation "The World of Bricks".
In addition, a special festive week will be held in the centre from 22 to 27 June, with monthly competitions to win vouchers worth CHF 150.
