Christine Martel will take over as Head of the Fresh Food & Beverage Group (FFB-Group) within Migros Industrie on 1 February 2025. She is currently Head of the Coffee Division at Nestlé Switzerland.

Christine Martel (born 1970) has been named as the next CEO of the Fresh Food & Beverage Group (FFB-Group). She succeeds Nicole Laager, who is currently managing the Fresh Food & Beverage Group on an interim basis.

Christine Martel has been working for the Nestlé Group since 1999 and has held various positions in Switzerland and abroad. She currently heads the coffee business of Nestlé Switzerland, where she is responsible for the operational management and the retail coffee brands of Nestlé Switzerland. Between 2012 and 2024, Christine Martel was also a member of the Supervisory Board of Beiersdorf AG, where she chaired the Audit Committee. Christine Martel studied chemical engineering in Lyon and Berlin, and holds a doctorate in process engineering and business administration.

Christine Martel commented on the switch: “I am very much looking forward to this new challenge and to using my savoir-faire and savoir-être for the benefit of the Fresh Food & Beverage Group, its employees and gourmet products ‘from breakfast to dinner’.”
