Successful 2025 Christmas season

Migros can look back on a particularly successful Christmas season this year. Once again, it impressed customers with its wide product range, high quality and attractive prices. Thanks to the commitment of all its employees and strong demand for its own-brand products, Christmas sales provided a fitting conclusion to Migros' anniversary year.
Festive classics and popular own brands
Just like every year, some classics dominated the shopping trolleys around Christmas. Chinese hot pot, table grilling ingredients and raclette cheese were especially popular. Products such as Swiss-grown Nordmann pines, Christmas spices and Freylini chocolate balls were also in great demand.
The most popular food products in the 2025 Christmas season:
Gingerbread in a wide variety of flavours
Christmas biscuits & panettone
Ready-made biscuit dough mixes to bake yourself
Products containing truffles such as pesto, raclette cheese and carpaccio
Chinese hot pot, meat cuts and ham
Smoked salmon
Fondue sauces and pickled vegetables for table grilling and raclettes
Christmas chocolate such as Freylini chocolate balls
Finn magic berry and magic apple syrups, NON sparkling wines
Christmas spices such as cinnamon sticks, ground cinnamon, star anise, aniseed and cardamom
Finn cuddly toys remain best-sellers
Popular cuddly toys based on the elf Finn were also a big hit this year. Due to high demand last year, Migros increased its range of Finn articles and was able to boost sales by around 35%. These lovingly designed cuddly toys with lights and sound made many children's hearts beat faster and proved an ideal Christmas present. Successful developments in the market for cuddly toys enabled Migros to expand its range in a targeted manner. Across the entire cuddly toy range, sales were up 5% on last year.
Martinelia make-up products on the road to success
Children's cosmetics from the Martinelia brand are also increasingly popular. As the trend towards playful, high-quality make-up sets for children continues, Migros recorded year-on-year sales growth of more than 5% in this area. Martinelia products are synonymous with quality at a fair price. They are particularly popular with families.
Migros keeps its finger on the pulse for its customers
In its 101st year, Migros will continue to do everything it can to delight its customers through a diverse product range, strong own brands, regional roots and exceptional service. The highest priority is offering high quality at fair prices.
