Facts & figures for 2023
The 2023 financial year was characterised by rising costs for raw materials, energy and packaging. Nevertheless, we were able to build on our leading position in the Swiss retail trade. Group sales totalled CHF 32.0 billion, beating the record figure achieved in 2022 (+6.0%). At the same time, we made significant commitments to Switzerland as a workplace, with almost 100,000 employees, and to society. Our investments totalled CHF 1.5 billion in the reporting year.
