We're committed to a Switzerland providing high quality of life for everyone.
By this, we mean that Switzerland is a country where people feel at home, where the environment, society and economy are harmoniously aligned and where opportunities are created for everyone. A Switzerland providing high quality of life successfully combines prosperity with sustainability and social cohesion with diversity.
We focus on people's everyday needs. We provide solutions that are really important to most people and improve the lives of many.
Migros' Vision 2035 is reflected in three aspects.

Economy: we are first choice in everyday life
Our closeness to customers and high levels of performance and efficiency mean that we set standards in the market and lead the way in all of our business sectors. Our promise is clear: we never compromise on price and performance. This helps to build trust, making us first choice in everyday life. Our goal is to achieve long-term commercial success. All of our business operations create sustainable value, generate market-level returns and, in turn, contribute to the Group's strong performance.
Community: the strong Migros community is the driving force behind our success
The Migros community is made up of our customers, cooperative members and employees. It provides us with a solid foundation and represents our most important resource. Our customers are at the centre of all our activities. We allow our cooperative members to actively participate and encourage them to have their say on major issues, giving them a key role. We provide opportunities for our employees and give them a platform to achieve extraordinary things.
Society: the Migros Group belongs to the people
Our success is for the benefit of everyone, not just a few individuals. As a cooperative, this means we give a significant share of our profit back to society and to the Migros community, allowing everyone to share in our success. This makes us unique – but also obliges us to ensure transparency and adopt a responsible and sustainable approach.
In the long run, I can only do well if everyone is doing well.
Our outlook
We see the legacy of the ethical principles left to us by the Duttweilers as a duty to shape the future by displaying entrepreneurial spirit and courage, rather than trying to control it. We always prioritise the Group's interests over those of individuals.

Organisational structure
Our organisation and structure are optimally geared towards achieving our goals based on clear tasks and responsibilities. Our goals are to improve efficiency and make things simpler to ensure we are competitive and successful in the long term.
Our vision creates the framework for the alignment of our strategic business areas. It is produced by the Executive Board on behalf of the FMC Board of Directors who then approve it. Our goals, values and guiding principles apply bindingly to the entire Migros Group.
Vision 2035 was unanimously adopted by the Assembly of Delegates of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives (FMC) on 8 November 2025.
