The Migros Group Human Resources Management department and the SQTS and Quality Management quality organisations will remain in the previous department. Corporate Citizenship is being combined with the Social Affairs and Culture unit, Miduca AG, the "Park im Grünen" foundations and Ferrovia Monte Generoso AG to create one overall unit which will report directly to Mario Irminger, President of the Executive Board. Andrea Krapf, the previous Head of Department, has decided to assume control of the newly created Corporate Citizenship unit, thereby handing over the management of the department to a new person and stepping down from the Executive Board.

Mario Irminger, President of the Executive Board of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives, says: "Andrea Krapf has built bridges within Migros, created a basis of trust and improved cooperation. She has made a key contribution to driving forward Migros' ongoing transformation. I would like to thank her for her tremendous efforts and am delighted she will be applying her extensive experience in her new role as Head of Corporate Citizenship." Under Andrea Krapf’s leadership, the AHV21 pension reform was successfully completed, the social partnerships were placed on a new, solid footing and a national social plan was adopted for the first time ever.

55-year-old Andrea Krapf has worked for Migros since 2001 in various roles, including Head of Human Resources and Head of Logistics/IT at the Migros Cooperative Zurich. She says: "After more than two decades in various management positions, I am delighted to have the opportunity to focus on Corporate Citizenship. I will remain fully committed to running my department over the coming months until the handover to my successor."

The changes are set to come into force towards the end of 2025. The search for a new Head of Department—which will be more focused in future—will now be launched.
