In January, the Executive Board launches "Fast Forward", a company analysis programme designed to optimise interfaces within the FMC and to eliminate redundancy. Redefining the FCM's tasks and optimising workflows can help to create room for manoeuvre to address future challenges. By June, 30 measures are defined that enable more efficient collaboration between the departments and divisions. Around 290 full-time positions are eliminated as part of the restructuring initiative.
