Podcast Chrut und Rüebli
Do we really need to save water in Switzerland?
On 22 March is World Water Day, so it’s high time we spoke about water and sustainability. Water is precious and getting ever scarcer in some regions around the globe.
How can we save water in Switzerland? Is it enough if we turn off the tap while brushing our teeth? Or do we perhaps consume far more water somewhere else that we’re not even aware about? And do we even need to save water in a country known as “Europe’s water tower”?
That’s the topic addressed in this episode by Andri Bryner from the ETH Water Research Institute EAWAG and Eva Wyss from the WWF.
