Healthy eating is fashionable. But what about a diet that isn’t only good for your body, but also for our planet?


That’s the idea behind the planetary health diet. This form of nutrition considers the environmental impact foods have from the field to the plate and then calculates how much we can eat of what without putting an undue strain on our planet.

Andreas Handke and recipe author Annina Ciocco, the chef and owner of the Zurich restaurant Bei Babette, show us that this isn’t as difficult as it seems. Together with them, we conjure up a delicious menu in this episode.
