Making nature tangible
Experiences and recreation in nature are highly valued, which is why we – together with SportX – are involved with the Swiss Alpine Club SAC as a leading partner.
The SAC promotes mountaineering through appropriate training and education. The real heart of the SAC are the 153 mountain huts, which are widely known and are always prominently and attractively featured in the TV programme “SRF bi de Lüt - Hüttengeschichten” presented by us. The types of SAC huts are as varied as the mountaineering options: everything is represented, from emergency bivouacs at over 4,000 m above sea level, to self-catering huts offering shelter, to comfortable mountain huts with superbly prepared food.
We want to support people in getting about the mountains safely, sustainably and with appropriate equipment. With our involvement, we support the SAC, which promotes responsible mountaineering, is involved in various mountaineering activities and is committed to mountain rescue. In addition, our dedication helps the SAC maintain its 153 SAC huts as an important infrastructure for mountain climbers and as an exceptional mountain tourism offering.
