FMC
The Federation of Migros Cooperatives (FMC) coordinates Migros’ activities, defines its strategy and publicly represents the Migros Community. The FMC bodies are composed of the Assembly of Delegates, the Board of Directors, the Executive Board and the auditors.

Organisational structure
The Assembly of Delegates is the highest governing body within Migros. Among other things, it decides on amendments to the FMC’s Articles of Association and the election of members of the Board of Directors as well as establishes and carries out amendments to the core business policy.

The Board of Directors consists of 23 members (reduction to 13 members from 1 July 2024), of which ten are external members and 13 internal members. It is responsible for the overall management of Migros and defines Migros’ strategy as well as its business and ideational objectives.

The Executive Board is responsible for the operational management of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives. It consists of the Chair and five other members, each of whom is responsible for a department.
