Recycling Guide
It’s hard to imagine not recycling cardboard in the household; it plays an important part in ensuring sustainable use of wood as a raw material.
Packaging cardboard, corrugated cardboard and detergent boxes.
Paper, aluminium- or plastic-coated cardboard (e.g. Tetra Pak), metals, polystyrene, adhesive tape.
Compressed boxes take up less space – in your carrier bag, the collection container and the lorry.
You can deposit cardboard directly at the collection point in your municipality.
The process is a closed circle. Cardboard is compressed and mixed with water to form a pulp, which is then cleaned and dried to create a paper paste that is used to make cardboard again.
Clean pizza boxes that have inserts, for example, can also be recycled; however, greasy boxes belong in the general waste.
Recycling protects the climate and conserves the Earth’s natural resources. That’s why we want to do our bit together with you.
